![]() Tart cherry juice side effects full#I'm puzzled if it worked so very well for her and kept her in full remission for 9 years, why isn't it more available and why don't we hear more about it? Perhaps the cost is too high for most insurances to cover? Don't know. I'm going to email Betsy who wrote a book about her experience and we emailed for several months a year ago. ![]() I'm still interested in RIT's, such as Zevalin and Bexxar but don't think my tumor shrunk enough to be a candidate for that treatment. I understand they're usually 3 months apart for 2 years? Did read a lot of posts recently on this website about using R for maintenance. has for me next, but wants to see if Moffitt in Tampa agrees with that before starting. How many Rituxan treatments did you have following R-CVP? That's the plan my Oncy. Hi John - it sure sounds as though your joint pain was connected to the chemo and R treatments! I had some of that with all the Neupogen (?)shots I took to bring my white cell counts back, but it wasn't unbearable. 2 months out of the R treatment and now that pain is gone? Starting to believe the R may be connected to it somewhere along the line.John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10) Pain in Joints Now I was noticing my left thumb joint was beginning to have sharp pains, but not unbearable. Then I had my first R treatment and in a few days the hip pain was starting to return, not as bad as the 6 R-CVP treatments. A few months out of chemo all the pain and cramps were gone. Most of the pain was in my left hip where I had the BMB. I had a lot of cramps in my legs along with pain in my hips which I am sure were the joints, but felt like the bone and still may have been for all I really know. I too had and have a little pain in the joints.Never had it before chemo. 2 months out of the R treatment and now that pain is gone? Starting to believe the R may be connected to it somewhere along the line.John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10) ![]() Wonder what the theory there is? Fran Pain in Joints ![]() Someone mentioned a few months ago that smoked gouda cheese was helpful for NHL - was that you? It's one of my favorite cheeses and I've been buying it since at Sam's and eating often. I'll look for the juice (we don't have a Richards) or perhaps order from the website for cherries - I see they have it too. Made a green salad with mixed baby lettuces, toasted walnuts, blue cheese, cherries and a balsamic vinaigrette - to die for. and they're so delicious I may order another box. They're much larger than cranberries or raisins and are from Michigan and new crop - out of this world. Hi Joanie - you have the best "natural" foods advice! My gift of dried cherries were delivered by my friend today and I've never tasted anything so delicious that are also good for you! Nothing like the dried ones we buy at the grocery store. You might have one on your side of the state. I got the tart cherry from Richards Health Foods. Frozen, fresh or dried or liquid should do the trick. Also Dr Oz said it is proven that cherries do help pain. Oz asked him one statement he would make to help prevent cancer. Oz tell people to eat two slices of gouda cheese. ![]() Wonder what the theory there is? Fran Dr. LOVE cherries and a friend is now in MI and bringing a box of dried cherries back to me - cherry capital of the USA. I'm so sorry you're having pains in your joints - haven't heard of that as a side effect of Rituxan. All 3 kids have visited with their children and we've had a great time - trips to Orlando and Daytona for days of fun. HI Joanie - are you enjoying your summer vacation? First time I've been on this site for a month. ![]()
